Iranian authorities demolished Baloch houses in port city of Chahbahar

On 16 and 17 of May 2007 the Iranian authorities demolished Baloch houses to make space for non Baloch outsider to be settle in the port city of Chahbahar in Balochistan.

Note: this is the second time in two years, in June 2005 (http://www.unpo.org/article.php?id=2730) the authorities also destroyed thousand of poor people’s homes in an area covering many kilometers to provide land to security forces without compensating or providing alternative accommodation to poor families.
