How can the Westerners in Afghanistan Show their Love for Liberty?

The Western powers are currently seen to be engage in liberalizing the Muslim societies and bringing the Muslim world in line with the rest of the civilized world. This process is being welcomed by all open minded and level headed national leaders through out the Muslim world. Only a fraction of the Muslim scholars are opposing it. As part of the process we are witnessing redrawing of the boundaries of certain illegitimate countries like Serbia, Iraq, Indonesia and some of the African countries.

Along with many nations Azeris, Kurds, Baloch and Sindhis are also without a country, therefore, freeing these nations’ land from forceful occupation need to be made an essential component of the process. To show sincerity and sympathy in this regard we are finding western media and human rights organizations actively advocating the liberation movements of the said nations. This encouragement has contributed in intensification of political activities of Azeris, Kurds, Baloch and Sindhis in Iran and Pakistan.

After the overthrow of Saddam, Kurds in Iraq are enjoying their autonomy which they gain with the help of the western forces. The entrance of the same forces in Afghanistan have succeeded in the removal of fundamentalist ruler of Taliban and Al-Qaeda, and replacing it with a liberal and partially democratic force from within Afghanistan.

These western forces in Afghanistan need to follow the same example that of Iraq and announce autonomy of Baloch areas in Afghanistan to show that they are serious on the issue of oppression and suppression of the nations.

An autonomous Balochistan in Afghanistan can play the same role for Baloch areas under Iran and Pakistan’s control which the autonomous Kurdistan in Iraq is playing for the oppressed Iranian, Syrian and Turkey’s occupied Kurdish land. Even if Afghan controlled Balochistan once freed was unable to contribute anything towards other occupied Baloch lands she can by herself enjoy the autonomy and become a good example of the civilized Afghanistan; also the suffering nations of the world will find further sign of sincerity and love of the West for liberty around the world, not only for the Westerners!
